Happy Labor Day! We’re doing some behind-the-scenes work to improve the Apple Buying Advice experience:
- Working on updating all category guides in time for Apple’s Fall 2023 lineup.
- A new blog feature to complement our buying guides.
- Buying guides will only focus on the primary product. Supplementary blog posts will recommend accessories.
- We are ending donations. We initially only offered them at $10 per year because people asked for the option. Then we started getting Stripe disputes from people who voluntarily signed up to donate to the site, which hurts our reputation. Lesson: donations are more trouble than they are worth. We will find other ways to sustain the site.
